PRESS RELEASE: Zorg Biogas AG to construct biogas plants in South Africa and Greece

The recent marketing efforts of Zorg Biogas AG have yielded success, with Zorg receiving its first advance orders from South Africa and Greece at the beginning of November.

There are no biogas plants in South Africa or Greece at the moment, and so Zorg has the chance to build the first such facilities in these countries, ahead of its competitors. Both of the 1MW plants will use a manure-dung mixture for fuel.

Shortly before the taking the decision to buy the plants, the prospective customers visited an operating plant in Kyiv region, Ukraine, where they were able to see the high quality of the completed project. Zorg was chosen because the company can offer the best quality/price ratio, which is in turn possible due to its low expenses, good logistics, and the discounts it can offer.

The new orders are not the only good news from the company. A new biogas plant is to start operating in Kostanai region, Kazakhstan soon, and construction is underway in Zemgali, Latvia. It is expected that successful launch of these plants will bring at least 10 new customers in the Baltic countries and Central Asia in 2011.

The Zorg group of companies has specialized in designing and constructing biogas plants since 2006. It employs more than 50 people.
