"Cyborgs" in Jerusalem!

On June 18, 2018, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, while on a working visit to the State of Israel, opened the theatre showing of the movie "Cyborgs: Heroes Never Die."

The movie "Cyborgs", which is inspired by the fate of the defenders of the Donetsk airport, tells us not about the war, but about the peace that the Ukrainian nation wants to build and to enjoy”, - said P.Klimkin.

The movie by the Ukrainian director Ahtam Seitablayev is based on a true story of the battle for the Donetsk airport and tells about the history of modern-day Ukraine.

"This film has to be seen by everyone in order to understand what Ukraine lives today. Therefore, I am extremely happy that I took part in organizing this event in Jerusalem. The truth needs to be known!"- noted Oleg Vyshniakov, Honorary Consul of the State of Israel in the Western region of Ukraine.

Within the framework of the event the project "Ukraine: Tiding over” an exhibition was presented to the wider public. The photo exhibition, organized by the Ukrainian Institute of Public Diplomacy and the Baltic-Black Sea Security Confederation, shows how Ukraine is passing through its toughest challenges of present-day, occupation of Ukrainian land, a powerful information warfare machine. The movie also underlies the invincibility of the spirit of Ukrainian soldiers.

Overcoming in this battle, is giving a powerful impetus to the revival of a modern European nation.

The event was attended by the Israeli officials, representatives of the diplomatic corps, local community and community of Ukrainian immigrants to the State of Israel. The movie caused the standing ovation of the guests.

The showing was organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel with the organizational support of the NGO "Israeli Friends of Ukraine" and Honorary Consul of the State of Israel in the Western region of Ukraine Oleg Vyshniakov.
