A 'vaccine' against Internet fraud created

A widespread problem of the Internet - the identification of a Web site and certification of a Web site's contents - has been solved in Ukraine.

The Khmelnytsky-based Web Trust Ukraine Company has developed and introduced a technology to verify a Web site and its owner, which allows for the accurate identification and distinction between one Web resource and another that may be similar or even identical.

While visiting and using an Internet resource which is labeled with a verification sign, an Internet user can be sure of its legitimacy, the lawfulness and liability of its owner for the contents of the site, and his relevant legal obligations.

Thus, the Web Trust Ukraine Company has found a solution to the most urgent problem of Internet users. The site certificate is a guarantee of the legality of the site's owner and his responsibility for the information posted on the site.

The problem of fake sites and abusive behavior by some users of the Internet has become very acute. And, thanks to the Ukrainian company, every self-respecting Web site has the opportunity to "get vaccinated" or obtain a certificate, which is a guarantee of the site's authenticity and that it is a primary source of information.

The Webtrust ® Ukraine certificate cannot be forged by modern technical means, information about the owner is supplied online from a trusted certification authority during a query and the page footing is marked with a time stamp and certified with a digital signature.

Thus, thanks to modern solutions from the Web Trust Ukraine company, the Internet will finally cease to be a swamp of fake Web sites. This will protect Internet users - as consumers of information, and owners of Web resources - as owners of information.
