Creation of the regional brand as an innovational way of Region’s development

Each region, each territory or city has its unique qualities – historical, mental and economic. They cause appearance of stereotypes and associations in inhabitant’s mind. In this sense, the Region is like a business company and it can be applied with all range of tools on creation of BRAND. Successfully formed and effectively promoted territory brand can play the main role in the process of development of region’s economy, investments attraction and directly influence on efficacy of work of local companies on external markets. It makes the task of territorial brand creation pragmatic and tangible for business community of the Region. In order to create updated region brand in Donetsk on March 19, 2010 will take place Round table “Creation of regional brand: Donetsk – business capital of Ukraine”. The Round table will be a start of global project – program of creation the brand “Creation of regional brand: Donetsk – business capital of Ukraine”, which called to form the perception about purpose and specifics of Donetsk region.
