LAND ASPECTS OF INVESTMENTS INTO AGRICULTURAL SECTOR OF UKRAINE

Investment Forum of Kirovohrad Region ELISAVETGRAD INVESTMENT DAY is an annual event, a platform for dialogue between representatives of the state authorities, Ukrainian and international businesses that will assist in solving economic development issues and improve the investment climate of the region.
Today one of the priority tasks for the Ukrainian government and the state is establishing an open and transparent market of agricultural land, improving the efficiency of using this land, providing 6.91 million farmers – the owners of land plots (shares) – with the required knowledge in possession, land use, and protecting their interests.
There was the aim to develop the draft law "On the agricultural land turnover." This document is aimed at completing the creation of market conditions to involve agricultural land in the economic turnover, fully realize the right of Ukrainian citizens to the private ownership to agricultural land, the legislative strengthening of pathways.
The establishment of market principles in the issue of land turnover will become the key factor in attracting domestic and foreign investment in the agricultural sector of Ukraine and will significantly improve the investment attractiveness of Ukraine as a whole.
