Kyiv, November 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine (IABU) is eager to establish effective cooperation with state regulators and parliament to safeguard the interests of its members and facilitate the development of the banking sector.

"This involves the facilitation of the development of the banking business as a component of Ukraine's economy and safeguarding of the interests of the association's members," Yuriy Blaschuk, the head of Platinum Bank's supervisory board and deputy chairman of the IABU's board, said while highlighting the association's mission at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
