Ukrtelecom to raise new loan in August
Kyiv, August 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) - PJSC Ukrtelecom is intending in August to raise a new loan, Company Board Chairman Heorhiy Dzekon said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.
According to him, a corresponding tender has been conducted. The bank that offered the best crediting terms was selected.
"We are at the stage of agreeing a new credit agreement, and it is likely to be signed in August," said Dzekon.
At the same time, Dzekon did not specify the size of the loan, the bank's name or the details of the loan agreement, noting only that the first tranche of the loan is to be received in the third quarter of 2011.
As reported, Ukrtelecom in March this year announced a tender to raise a loan of $400 million in foreign currency for five years.
