'Political enthusiasts' write book on Regions Party
Kyiv, June 8 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A book entitled "The Regions Party. Past… Present… Future" has been presented in Kyiv.
"This is a book not only about Donetsk leaders, but also about all party members, who live from the east to the west, and from the north to the south of our country," Regions Party MP Olena Bondarenko said during a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine Agency on Wednesday.
She noted that the party has 1.398 million members today.
In turn, chairman of the editorial staff of the book, Volodymyr Pekhota, noted that people that are not members of the party worked on the book.
"They were [political] enthusiasts who care about Ukraine's destiny and its political future," he said.
The book tells history of the Regions Party, starting from its setting up until modern times. The book was published with a print run of 500 copies by the Donetsk-based Kashtan Company.
