Sport Life Group to open another four Eurasia sushi bars in Kyiv by late summer

Kyiv, June 2 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Sport Life Group, which manages the chain of eponymous fitness clubs, as well as the chain of Eurasia restaurants and sushi bars in Russia and Ukraine, plans by the end of summer 2011 to open another four restaurants in Kyiv, bringing their total number to ten outlets in Ukraine, group founder Dmitry Ekimov has said.

"Currently there are six Eurasia sushi bars in Kyiv, four bars are under construction, they will open in a month or two," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine in Kyiv on Thursday.

Ekimov also added that the company plans to sign rent agreements for another five buildings for restaurants by the end of the year.

"Rent agreements for five more premises will be signed. There will be 15 restaurants by late 2011," he said.

According to the group founder's estimates, the total investment in the opening all nine new restaurants will be about $3.5 million.

Eurasia restaurants will be located only in Kyiv, as the regions lack good personnel and we have to bring a lot of people from Saint Petersburg," he added.

Sport Life Group was founded in 2001 by Kyiv-Capital venture fund in Maryland (the United States) to invest in sport infrastructure in Eastern Europe.
