Exit poll of Rating for elections of Mariupol mayor: Boichenko has 68.1%, Klymenko 22.8%
KYIV. Oct 25 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The incumbent mayor of the city, Vadym Boichenko, leads in the elections for the mayor of Mariupol (Donetsk region) with 68.1% of the vote, according to the results of the exit poll of Rating Group, presented in the press center of the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Sunday evening.
Volodymyr Klymenko, a representative of the Opposition Platform – For Life party, ranks second with 22.8% of the vote, while self-nominated candidate Lidiya Muhli ranks third with 4.4%.
The rest of the candidates received less than 1.5% of the vote.
The sociological group Rating conducted an exit poll at the elections of the mayor and the city council of Mariupol, which was held at 50 polling stations in the city. The number of respondents was 4,257. The error margin does not exceed 1.5%.
