Naftogaz to refine 100,000 t of oil every month at Lysychansk oil refinery, says TNK-BP
Kyiv, April 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – National JSC Naftogaz Ukrainy will refine 100,000 tonnes of crude oil every month at Lysychansk oil refinery (private JSC LINIK, Luhansk region), Didier Casimiro, TNK-BP Commerce President and CEO, has said.
"We agreed to refine 100,000 tonnes every month on a tolling basis," he said at the press conference entitled "TOP-100. The Best Managers of Ukraine" at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.
As reported, Naftogaz Ukrainy has held talks on the possibility of signing an agreement to buy crude oil refining services, and the private JSC is ready to sign an agreement worth UAH 288 million.
Naftogaz Ukrainy plans to refine up to one million tonnes of Russian Urals crude oil at Lysychansk oil refinery in 2011.
Naftogaz unites the country's largest oil and gas producers. It is Ukraine's gas transit and underground storage monopolist. It also holds a monopoly in oil transportation by pipelines across Ukraine.
