Offers to Ukrainian businessmen to work abroad increasing, according to Ukrainian League of Industrialists

Kyiv, March 30 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The number of recruiting companies offering Ukrainian industrialists and entrepreneurs to work abroad has increased by four times compared to the pre-crisis period, First Vice-President of the Ukrainian League of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Serhiy Prokhorov said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.

"[Recruiting companies offer people] not just to work as private persons, but in detail tell about the advantages of doing business in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia, Finland, Switzerland, and even Belarus," he said.

According to Prokhorov, if the most developed and talented circles of entrepreneurs decide to work abroad there will be a threat to Ukraine's economic development.

"Then we will not be able… to fulfill the tasks that the Ukrainian president set, for Ukraine to enter top twenty most developed countries of the world," he said.

"On the assumption that it's true that over 49% of our young people aged under 30 say they are ready to leave Ukraine for ever, we can say that this is a serious threat," Prokhorov said.
