Tigipko says he plans to succeed with reforms

Kyiv, March 12 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister and Social Policy Minister Sergiy Tigipko has said that he is planning to continue working on reforming the country.

"Let nobody expect that I won't complete a certain reform," he said at a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine news agency on Saturday.

Tigipko said he was confident that very successful reforms await Ukraine in future.

"There is a lot of criticism, but I have a very critical attitude to criticism. I don't need praise, and I don't have any kind of inferiority complex. I know quite well what I have to do, but I understand that problems could arise on this way," he said.

Tigipko also said that in May or June, he was planning to take the next step in tax reform, and then he would focus on the customs and labor codes and reform of the social sector.
