Deputy Luhansk region governor hopes benefits for some players on fuel markets to be cut

Kyiv, November 5 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Deputy Chairman of Luhansk regional administration Eduard Lozovsky has expressed hope that tax benefits for some players on the fuel market will be cut.

"As for the various benefits given to some market players - I think that everyone should have equal conditions… I hope that the situation will stabilize, and all market players will be working under equal conditions," he said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday, when asked about untaxed imports of fuel by the Livela Company.

Lozovsky said that Luhansk regional administration supports parliament initiatives to settle the issue.

Lozovsky said that regional powers want to retain a favorable investment climate, and create conformable conditions for large investors, in particular, TNK-BP.

"TNK-BP is the largest taxpayer in Luhansk region and one of the largest employers, so we pay attention to the conditions in which the company operates in Ukraine," he said.
