Deputies of Kyiv Council call for dismissal of Deputy Kyiv City State Administration Head Puzanov
Kyiv, October 6 (Interfax-Ukraine) - Deputies of Kyiv City Council (the faction of the Bloc of Leonid Chernovetsky) plan to call for the dismissal of Oleksandr Puzanov as deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration at a meeting on Thursday.
"Our demand about the removal and dismissal of Puzanov from the post of deputy head of Kyiv City State Administration is one of principle, as the executive agency [Kyiv City State Administration] is accountable to Kyiv Council. A plenary meeting is scheduled for Thursday… Our group of deputies [of Kyiv Council] will insist that a vote on the removal of Puzanov from the post be included on the agenda, a temporary supervision commission be created, clear terms of work of this commission be established and the Ukrainian president be informed about this," the chairperson of the commission for health care and social protection at Kyiv Council, Alla Shlapak, said at a press conference in Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday.
The reason for this initiative, according to representatives of the deputy group, were activities by Puzanov in support of the "restriction of the rights of Kyiv Council" and "abuses of his powers as head of administrative commission."
