Special communications service to launch Electronic Ukraine system in 2011
The State Service of Ukraine for Special Communications and Information Protection is intending from January 1, 2011 to launch the first stage of the Electronic Ukraine state secure information system, service deputy head Petro Yatsuk has said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
According to Yatsuk, currently the system is being tested. The first stage of the system will be launched at the state authorities as a unified system for document circulation.
Yatsuk said that the system was created in the form of a Web portal, its protection will be ensured by means of electronic signatures received at the center of electronic key authentication
Later citizens will be able to use the system after identification and receiving a unique electronic key and a certificate. Along with this, the system will be protected from attempted hacking by individuals.
Yatsuk said that in the future the program would be updated through adding various services at the request of citizens.
