Donbas casualty rate higher in 2017, compared to 2016 - OSCE
KYIV. Nov 10 (Interfax-Ukraine) - As many as 425 civilians have been killed or injured in Donetsk and Luhansk regions in 2017, the Principal Deputy Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), Alexander Hug, told a press conference at the Interfax-Ukraine press center in Kyiv on Friday.
The OSCE SMM confirms 425 civilian casualties since the beginning of this year, which is more than in the relevant period of 2016, Hug said.
Thirty-nine non-combatant casualties of this year in Donbas are children, Hug said.
