Book on history of state service in Ukraine to be presented to president and government
Kyiv, June 23 (Interfax-Ukraine) – A five-volume book entitled "The History of State Service in Ukraine" will be presented to the president and members of the government at cabinet meeting on Wednesday, a member of the editorial board of the book and Deputy Chief of the Main State Service of Ukraine Andriy Vyshnevsky said during the presentation of the book in Interfax-Ukraine agency on Tuesday.
"The Institute of the History of Ukraine at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, on the initiative of the main department of State Service, has launched a project about the history of the state service of Ukraine. This is the first attempt to describe the uninterrupted development of the political and administrative system on the territory of Ukraine, to discover the peculiarities, and the patterns of development of the state service," First Deputy Chief of the Main State Service Volodymyr Tkach said.
Vyshnevsky also noted that the publication of the book was 90% financed from the national budget (UAH 1.5 million), while the government of Denmark allocated 10% of the funds (UAH 120.000).
