Socialist Party advocates implementation of human development strategy in Ukraine – party chair

KYIV. Sept 15 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The Socialist political party takes principles of social state and human development strategy as its basis and it seeks to introduce them in Ukraine.

"We, as a new left party, put principles of social state, first of all, principles of human development strategy, as the basis of our ideology. The strategy envisages that the state and society are responsible for the whole life cycle of each person, from birth to death. No political party in Ukraine has this strategy now," party Chairman Leonid Kozhara said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Wednesday.

He said that the party is ready to answer all hot questions, formulate main principles and basis for the new internal and foreign policy for Ukraine, propose progressive benchmarks for social and economic development.

Kozhara said that Socialists do not have any oligarch. The party has been built from below.

Deputy Chairman Oleksiy Plotnykov is convinced that the Ukrainian political system should be oriented to citizens.

He presented three principles that income of each citizen is to allow him or her to live normal lives, all citizens are to have access to the high-quality healthcare system and continuous education, irrespective of his or her income and social status.
