Poll: Over 40% of Ukrainians back dismissal of Tymoshenko's government

Kyiv, December 7 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Over 40% of Ukrainian citizens support the dismissal of the government led by Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, according to a survey carried out by FOM-Ukraine on November 22-30, 2009.

The results of the survey were presented at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Monday.

A total of 43.4% of respondents said they support the dismissal of the current Cabinet of Ministers, 39.8% opposed this, and 16.8% were undecided.

According to the poll, 67.5% of Ukrainians disapproved of the activities of Tymoshenko as prime minister (65.8% in October), while 26.5% approved of her work (26.9% in October).

A total of 1,000 respondents were surveyed, with the poll's margin of error being 3.2%.
