Ukrspyrt to double production at its distilleries in 2015
KYIV. April 9 (Interfax-Ukraine) – The distilleries of state enterprise Ukrspyrt may double production to 26.1 million decaliters (dal) in 2015.
"We will produce 26.1 million dal of goods in 2015. Of course, for this we need changes to legislation," acting director Roman Ivaniuk said at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the presentation given by Ivaniuk during the conference, in 2015 the production of ethyl alcohol will amount to 15 million dal, crude alcohol – 600,000 dal, bioethanol - 6.2 million dal, technical alcohol - 1.4 million dal, and medical alcohol – 600,000 dal.
Ukrspyrt plans to export up to 3 million dal of technical alcohol, some 3 million dal of rectified spirits to Armenia and Turkmenistan, up to 3.4 million dal of bioethanol to the EU, and up to 600,000 dal of crude alcohol to Poland.
"Part of produce will be exported. We are actively working on the market of edible alcohol with Turkmenistan, Malaysia, we have potential contacts for edible alcohol with Vietnam. We plan to significantly increase bioethanol production," Ivaniuk said.
According to him, alcohol drinks output in Ukraine increased from 5,700 dal in January 2015 to 47,000 dal in March.
According to the state enterprise head, there were no debts on loans at the beginning of April, the debt to suppliers is estimated at UAH 81 million, ending funds in bank accounts are UAH 24.1 million, including UAH 7.6 million in problem banks.
