Ukrzaliznytsia can't ensure security at all strategic railway facilities
Due to the current situation in the country, the State Railways Administration of Ukraine Ukrzaliznytsia doesn't have enough security teams to cover all railway infrastructure facilities, acting Ukrzaliznytsia CEO Maksym Blank said, at a press conference at Interfax-Ukraine on Thursday.
"The Infrastructure Ministry has addressed the Defense Ministry with a request to tighten the security of the transport infrastructure facilities, however, there's still no response. We sincerely hope that coordinated action by soldiers and Ukrzaliznytsia will both tighten the security of facilities and ensure the transportation of key cargos, such as coal. First of all, this issue must be solved in terms of coordination," he noted.
