Producer Potap presents 'mysterious star Arkadiy Laykin'
Kyiv, September 19 (Interfax-Ukraine) – Famous Ukrainian singer and producer Potap has presented a new project from the MOZGI Entertainment producer center, entitled "Mysterious Star Arkadiy Laykin."
Potap appeared in the guise of the new "artist Arkadiy Laykin" at a press conference hosted by Interfax-Ukraine agency on Wednesday.
"It's an Internet character, but pretending to perform on the big stage," the producer explained.
The first hit of the artist was the single "Likes." Laykin performed it for the first time at the Crimea Music Fest-2012 festival.
However, the singer stressed that the "Potap and Nastia" project still has the status of a legendary group, and it's not going to break up."
"None of my [new] projects shake the ground under the "Potap and Nastia" group," the singer said.
"We survived 'a cold war' with the Russian show business. We had a very big conflict with one of the global managers of the Russian show business. But finally, we won, and 'Potap and Nastia' is returning to Russian, Asiatic market," Potap said.
