As a result of the Russian missile attack carried out by the Kremlin on July 8, 43 people were killed and almost 200 were injured in Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"Today, in several of our Ukrainian cities – Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih – a mourning was announced in memory of the victims of the Russian missile strike. It happened yesterday, during rush hour. More than 40 missiles of various types... 43 people were killed by this attack, almost 200 wounded," Zelenskyy said while speaking at the Ronald Reagan Institute in Washington.
As he noted, one of the strikes destroyed a children's specialized hospital. "Russia always knows where its missiles hit," the president said.
