Mexico condemns attack on Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv – Foreign Ministry
The Mexican government condemns the attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv and expresses condolences to the Ukrainian people, the Mexican Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
"Mexico condemns any attacks on civilian objects and demands strict compliance with the codes of conduct established by international humanitarian law. Mexico expresses its condolences to the Ukrainian people," the Mexican Foreign Ministry said in a statement on the X social network.
As reported, a Russian missile strike on Monday damaged four medical buildings and one administrative building at Okhmatdyt. About 50 people were injured, including eight children, and two doctors were killed. The toxicology building with the department of chronic and acute intoxications, where dialysis is carried out, was completely destroyed. At the time of the attack, there were 627 children in the clinic.
