Germany to accept Ukrainian children in need of help for treatment – minister
Germany is ready to accept Ukrainian children in need of help for treatment, Federal Minister of Health Karl Lauterbach said, commenting on the Russian missile attack on the Okhmatdyt children's hospital in Kyiv.
"I promised Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko that we would accept sick children in need of help at any time, the next rescue flight will take off on Wednesday. With a targeted attack on a children's hospital, Putin has once again shown that he is a war criminal," he wrote on the social network X.
In turn, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz wrote on X: "Germany stands unshakably on the side of the Ukrainians. Especially in these difficult times."
