Number of casualties in Ukraine increased to 33, 140 injured
As a result of a Russian missile strike on populated areas of Ukraine on Monday, July 8, 33 people were killed, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
"A total of 33 people were killed: 22 – the city of Kyiv, 11 – Dnipropetrovsk region. Some 140 people were injured: 74 in the capital, two in Kyiv region, 64 in Dnipropetrovsk region," the Telegram channel says.
In addition, 19 people were rescued, 11 of them in Kyiv and eight in Dnipropetrovsk region. Some 619 rescuers and 132 pieces of equipment were involved in rescue operations.
