Borrell on missile attack on Kyiv: Ukraine needs air defence now
Those responsible for the war crimes of the Russian Federation will be brought to justice, EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy Josep Borrell said, commenting on the missile strikes on Ukraine on Monday, July 8.
“Russia keeps ruthlessy targeting Ukrainian civilians. Today's air attacks have killed and wounded dozens, and destroyed Kyiv’s largest children hospital, Okhmatdyt. Ukraine needs air defence now. All responsible for Russian war crimes will be held to account,” he said on X Monday.
As reported, the number of victims in Kyiv as a result of a rocket attack by the occupiers on Monday morning increased to 96 people, 20 dead are known. In total, 31 people were killed and 125 injured in Ukraine.
