City of Kyiv hands over thousand FPV drones to army – Klitschko
Kyiv has handed over 1,000 FPV drones to the soldiers of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of the Ground Forces, announced the city's mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
"We purchased them with the money allocated to the military from the city's budget. The total cost of the UAVs is UAH 33.5 million," Klitschko wrote on his Telegram channel.
He reminded that earlier, in the spring, 20 Toyota Hilux pickup trucks were handed over to the soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade and immediately sent to the front.
"In total, Kyiv has allocated UAH 110 million for the equipment of the 3rd Brigade since the beginning of this year. Since 2023, this amount has reached nearly UAH 600 million," the mayor said.
