Preparations for heating season is priority for all govt agencies – Shmyhal
Preparations for the next heating season are a priority task for all government agencies today, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has said, during a visit to a thermal power generation facility in Donetsk region.
"Development of a decentralized energy system will help to provide people with heating and electricity. With the assistance of USAID, two cogeneration installations for boiler rooms were transferred to ensure their independent operation. The installation process is underway. It is planned to install four energy-efficient 10 MW boilers," he said on the Telegram channel.
The Prime Minister called on all communities and cities to install alternative energy sources to ensure uninterrupted work of critical infrastructure facilities.
"The government is working on maximum facilitation of import and installation of such equipment," he said.
