Equipment at Ukrenergo facilities in Zaporizhia, Lviv regions damaged in Russian attack, power engineers suffered
As a result of a combined nighttime attack by the Russians, equipment at Ukrenergo energy facilities in Zaporizhia and Lviv regions was damaged, and in Zaporizhia, two energy workers were injured and taken to the hospital, according to the company's press service.
"Last night, the Russians launched the eighth heavy combined attack on energy infrastructure facilities. Equipment at Ukrenergo facilities in Zaporizhia and Lviv regions was damaged," Ukrenergo said in a report on its Telegram channel.
In Zaporizhia, two energy workers were injured and taken to the hospital as a result of the attack.
Currently, the equipment is being inspected, and emergency repair work is ongoing.
On Saturday, June 22, regional energy supply companies will implement scheduled power outages across Ukraine from 02:00 PM to 12:00 AM, announced NPC Ukrenergo.
