Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked his American counterpart Joe Biden for giving Ukraine priority in the supply of air defense equipment, which "we critically need to defeat Russian attacks."
“These additional air defense capabilities will protect Ukrainian cities and civilians. I thank President Biden for the essential support, which we discussed during our recent meeting in Italy,” he said on X.
Zelenskyy noted that the partnership between Ukraine and the United States is strong and solid. “Together, we are protecting life against terror and aggression,” he said.
