Defense Ministry calculates Russian losses over past week

Over the past week, the Defense Forces destroyed 8,700 occupiers and 1,459 pieces of weapons and military equipment, Ground Forces Commander Oleksandr Pavliuk said.

"During the week from June 2 to June 9, 2024, enemy losses amounted to about 8,700 personnel," Pavliuk wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Defense Forces also liquidated 1,459 weapons and military equipment. In particular, 104 tanks, 151 armored combat vehicles, 360 artillery systems, eight MLRS, 15 air defense systems, one ship, 470 units of vehicles, and 58 units of special equipment.

In addition, Ukrainian defenders destroyed nine missiles and 283 UAVs.
