SBU drones hit enemy radar Sky worth $100 mln in Crimea – source
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), together with other Ukrainian Defense Forces, conducted a multi-day operation to destroy logistics that ensures the livelihoods of the occupiers in Crimea, an informed source told Interfax-Ukraine.
According to the source, the radar was hit by drones, which are the in-house development of military counterintelligence officers of the SBU.
It is noted that this enemy radar station near Armyansk controlled a front section of 380 km, providing protection for the occupiers' facilities on the territory of Crimea.
According to the source, after the attack of the SBU drones, the space intelligence facilities recorded the shutdown of radar radiation and did not record it anymore.
"This special operation of the SBU made the Russian air defense ‘blind’ in a significant part of the front," the source said.
