Mobilization increased after adoption of improved law – Zelenskyy
After the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law on improving certain issues of mobilization, military registration and military service, mobilization in Ukraine increased, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.
"The mobilization has been going on and is going on. The truth is, I'll tell you openly, after this law, to be honest, it increased," Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with participants in the third Ukraine-Northern Europe summit on Friday.
Zelenskyy said mobilization in Ukraine did not end, since during a war it is mandatory.
"It doesn't end and it goes on. The law voted by parliament allowed some changes to the old law on mobilization, martial law, etc. Registration should be mandatory for men of mobilization age," he said.
