Zelenskyy: Georgia confirms attendance in Peace Summit
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a phone conversation with his Georgian counterpart Salome Zourabichvilion Wednesday during which the latter confirmed her participation in the inaugural Peace Summit, which is scheduled for June 15-16 in Switzerland.
"I spoke with President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili and thanked her for confirming her attendance at the inaugural Peace Summit. Only a just and lasting peace in Ukraine can ensure the security and stability of our common region," Zelenskyy said on X Social Network.
The Georgian leader, for her part, thanked the Ukrainian head of state for his solidarity and unwavering support for the Georgian people.
"Our joint future lies in Europe!" she said on X Social Network.
