Zelenskyy, due to situation in Kharkiv region, instructs to postpone all intl events with his participation, work out new dates

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in connection with the Russian Federation's attempts to break through the defense line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the north of Kharkiv region and the constant shelling of the region, ordered to postpone all international events with his participation and work out new dates for holding them.

The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel following a conference call on the situation in Kharkiv region with the participation of Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhylevych.

In particular, the media reported the president's plans to make an official visit to Spain this coming Friday, where it was planned to sign an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine with Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez and meet with Spanish King Felipe VI.

According to Zelenskyy, he heard a report from the Chief of the General Staff.

"The commanders of the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard and directly Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky are working on the spot, who makes all decisions based on comprehensive information. Additional forces are being deployed, there are reserves. Intelligence - the Main Intelligence Agency and the Foreign Intelligence Service - see all possible moves of the enemy. Oleksandr Syrsky regularly reports on the situation," the President's Telegram channel says.
