Zelenskyy: Putin is in information aquarium, not going to stop
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Vladimir Putin is in an information aquarium and is not going to stop.
"We must protect Ukraine. This is our future and independence. Putin is not going to stop. He is in the information aquarium, in this world built by his special services, he is living in it," he said at a briefing after talks with European Parliament President Roberto Metsola on Thursday.
Zelenskyy noted that "sometimes, unfortunately, some representatives of different countries confirm that sanctions are not so powerful. They find formats, how to get away from them. They even attend the inauguration of this man."
"We are fighting for the whole of Ukraine, we are part of Europe, so we are fighting for ourselves and for Europe," Zelenskyy said.
