Juvenile prosecutors: 537 children killed in Ukraine as result of Russian armed aggression
More than 1,806 children suffered in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation: as of the morning of March 28, 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 537 children were killed and more than 1,269 were injured of varying degrees of severity.
These numbers are not final. Work continues to identify them in places of hostilities, in temporarily occupied and liberated territories, the Prosecutor General's Office reports on Telegram.
Children suffered the most in the following regions: Donetsk - 524, Kharkiv - 343, Kherson - 149, Kyiv - 130, Dnipropetrovsk - 125, Mykolaiv - 103, and Zaporizhia - 100.
On March 27, as a result of an enemy attack on the village of Borova, Izium district, Kharkiv region, a 13-year-old boy was killed; as a result of enemy shelling of the city of Kharkiv, four children aged three months to thirteen years were injured.
