Biden to meet with Czech PM on April 15 to confirm their strong support for Ukraine
U.S. President Joe Biden will welcome Prime Minister Petr Fiala of Czechia to the White House on April 15 to reaffirm their strong support for Ukraine in its defense against Russian aggression.
“President Biden will welcome Prime Minister Petr Fiala of Czechia to the White House on April 15 to further strengthen the U.S.-Czech relationship. The leaders will reaffirm their resolute support for Ukraine as it defends against Russia’s war of aggression,” Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said in a statement posted on the White House website.
In addition, the leaders emphasize their unwavering commitment to NATO.
Also, during the meeting, the parties “will coordinate on a range of shared priorities during the visit, including security issues, economic opportunities that benefit the American and Czech people, and shared democratic values.”
