Zelenskyy expects to build three defense lines with length of 2,000 km
At a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff Headquarters on Monday, we heard a report by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on the pace of construction of new defense lines, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote on the Telegram channel.
“Defense in three lines with a length of 2,000 kilometers is a large–scale task, but now the pace is good. I look forward to a timely completion," he wrote.
In addition, "detailed information from the command on the situation on the battlefield was heard. Reports by Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky, Chief of the General Staff Anatoliy Barhilevych, and field commanders were heard on Kupyansk, Lymany, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Maryinka, Southern directions, marine corps operations. Reports by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Head of the Ministry of Strategic Industry Oleksandr Kamyshin on providing the front with everything necessary were also heard. The actual and future supply of shells, missiles and other weapons was discussed along with own production."
