Zelenskyy on potential appointment of Zaluzhny as ambassador to UK: Our alliance with this country should only strengthen
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, speaking about his approval of the candidacy of former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny for the post of ambassador to the United Kingdom, said that the alliance between the two states should only strengthen.
"Today I have agreed on the candidacy of our country's ambassador to the UK. General Valeriy Zaluzhny told me exactly about this direction for himself - the diplomatic one. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine has sent a corresponding request to the agreman," the President said in an evening video message.
"Our alliance with Britain should only strengthen," he stressed.
