European Commission's President condemns attack on Odesa during Zelenskyy, Greek PM's visit
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said she strongly condemns Russia's vile attack on Odesa during the visit on Wednesday, March 6, of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
"I strongly condemn the vile attack on Odesa by Russia during Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visit. No one is intimidated by this new attempt at terror - certainly not the two leaders on the ground nor the brave people of Ukraine. More than ever, we stand by Ukraine," she said on the X social network.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Russian army attacked Odesa with a missile while Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis was visiting the city, who was scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy.
