PM of Greece says his country would like to use, develop capabilities of port in Odesa
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis said that his country would like to develop the capabilities of the port in Odesa to strengthen the Ukrainian economy and Ukraine's ability to fight.
"Odesa is a unique port city and, accordingly, these opportunities need to be used. I would like Greece to promote and develop the capabilities of this port so that the funds received from transportation, from its use, strengthen the Ukrainian economy and help Ukraine fight," he said at a press conference with Zelenskyy in Odesa on Wednesday.
Mitsotakis also said that Russia's war against Ukraine violates all international rules and, accordingly, Greece cannot be neutral, cannot remain silent, because the defense of Ukraine is now the defense of the core of democratic values.
"We must all unite in order to defend Ukraine. Each country must make its efforts to help Ukraine, so that assistance to Ukraine is stable, so that there are no interruptions and everything that is needed is supplied," he noted.
