Aerial reconnaissance officers of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine destroyed the Russian autonomous mobile video thermal imaging surveillance system Murom-P, the agency's press service said.
"Aerial reconnaissance officers of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who work near the Ukrainian-Russian border, discovered an autonomous mobile thermal imaging surveillance system Murom-P disguised by the invaders and destroyed it with an FPV drone," the Main Intelligence Agency said on the Telegram channel on Wednesday.
The cost of such a complex is reported to be about $50,000.
"The Murom optics are capable of detecting a person at a distance of up to 10 kilometers with a camera and up to 4 kilometers with a thermal imager. During reconnaissance in the indicated square, operators of the Main Intelligence Agency of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine also tracked down the car in which the Russian invaders were traveling – they burned it too," the agency said.
