On the night of March 2, the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed all 14 Shahed UAVs attack sent from the areas of Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk (Russia), the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) said.
"On the night of March 2, 2024, the enemy attacked with three Kh-59/Kh-35 guided missiles from Kherson and Donetsk regions and 17 attack drones of the Shahed type - launch areas Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Balakleya – Crimea," the AFU said in the Telegram channel.
Reportedly, as a result of combat work, air defense destroyed 14 Shahed-type UAVs within Odesa, Mykolaiv, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Sumy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

It is clarified that anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces have been involved in repelling the air attack.
