GUR: Russian coast guard GUR burned in Azov Sea, enemy loses five people
In the Sea of Azov, a fire was recorded on one of the boats of the coast guard of the border guard service of the Russian Federation, the Main Intelligence Agency (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has reported.
"On February 29, 2024, a fire was recorded in the waters of the Sea of Azov on one of the coast guard boats of the border guard service of the FSB of the Russian Federation," the GUR said on its official website on Thursday.
It is reported that the fire engulfed the wheelhouse of the Russian vessel. "The enemy suffered losses in the number of five occupiers. The crew of the boat urgently requested an evacuation group," GUR informs.
"The causes of the fire on the boat of the aggressor state of Russia, as well as the nature of enemy losses, are being clarified," the message says.
