Zelenskyy takes part in special summit in Paris to support Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took part on Monday via video link in the framework of a special summit in Paris, organized by French leader Emmanuel Macron, to support Ukraine.

"Today I took part in the work of a special summit in Paris - the summit of leaders, which was brought together by Mr. President of France. The main theme is everything that strengthens us in Europe, our resilience, our abilities, of course, our arsenals, our ability to produce weapons, arms supplies for Ukraine and continuity of support," the President said in a video message.

According to Zelenskyy, "everything we do together to protect against Russian aggression adds real security to our peoples for decades to come."

"Because each of the Russian losses and each of the Russian defeats teaches both Russia and any other opponent of Europe and the free world in general - teaches that aggression does not and cannot give results. Cooperation and determination are two answers that everyone should give to the question of ending the war and bringing peace closer," he said.

As reported, about 20 leaders from the European Union gathered in Paris today to send a clear signal to Russian President Vladimir Putin about Europe's intentions to continue supporting Ukraine.
