Issue of Ukraine's membership in EU recorded in priorities of Polish presidency in EU – Duda
Poland will continue to support Ukraine on its way to the European Union, and the issue of Ukraine's membership in the EU is listed among the priorities of the Polish presidency in 2025, Polish President Andrzej Duda said.
"Yes, of course, we have it written down in the priorities of the Polish presidency [the issue of Ukraine's membership in the EU]. Among other things, support for Ukraine's accession to the European Union is among the priorities that the Polish government has adopted. We supported, support and will continue to support Ukraine on its way to the European Union," Duda said in an interview broadcast by the national telethon on Thursday.
Poland will hold the EU presidency in the first half of 2025.
