Ukrainian air defense destroys 16 out of 23 Shahed UAVs at night – AFU Air Force

On the night of February 13, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 16 out of 23 Shahed drones within Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions, the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said on Tuesday morning.

"On the night of February 13, 2024, the enemy attacked with 23 attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type from the regions of Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Cape Chauda – Crimea," the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on the Telegram channel.

Anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defense Forces of Ukraine have been involved in repelling the air attack.

"As a result of combat work, 16 suicide bombers were destroyed within Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions," the AFU said.
